The Purpose of Sabor Latino
Sabor Latino events aim to fundraise and benefit Latin communities in need. Each year Equity Sports & Entertainment will choose a charity that supports Latin communities and culture. The charity has to be 501c3 supported. We require full transparency.

This year we are happy to support the Hispanic Federation for Hurricane Relief in Puerto Rico. Event proceeds will benefit families still struggling in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria. This year, we've also chosen to have a fun and informal dance competition with 1st place cash prize of $1000 and 2nd place cash prize of $250. With our incredible sponsors, we look forward to raising money and raising awareness for this important cause.

Next year, we will be looking at other charities, some brought to us by our own sponsors! Some Latin causes we're currently looking at relate to but are not limited to the communities of Cuba, Honduras, Columbia, Peru, Venezuela, Ecuador, El Salvador, and Mexico. We're also considering charities that work with and in the US Latin community.
